The final installment in my catch-up posts, huzzah! Day 2 of Made in Asia, and the final day Bert and I went: Saturday, March 4. Yes, over a month ago, I am well aware. I really need to get better at blogging things on time. It shall be an instant resolution! Because resolutions are not just for January 1st!
Because we have a lot of friends in HIGHFeeL, we were allowed to leave our stuff in their backstage loge, which was much appreciated. We spent some time hanging out with David, who we hadn’t seen since September.
And then Jun arrived, and he kindly showed me how to play HIGHWAY on the bass. Thanks Jun!
Fun fact, I often get teased, especially by other bass players, about my tiny hands. But Jun’s hands are the EXACT SAME size as mine. That definitely made me feel better about my small hands :).
We also ate some organic waffles (Bert and I went to Bioplanet before we went to Made in Asia).
David and I went and wandered the floor, which was omg wtf crowded. It was so hard to take photos :(.
We couldn’t even find Bert, who had gone to wander before us :(!
So we went back to the stand, where I found Tom and Kanba, and so we went to wander again, joined by Jun.
And I totally failed at taking photos of people because of the guys, who insisted on being in all the photos. Bad boys, bad!
But I did get some really nice ones :).
This did continue at the stand, where I was hanging out with the guys and
I had originally thought that hanging out at the stand would be a good vantage point to see people in awesome cosplays and fashion pass by, but that was not taking the photo bombing boys into account. Not even my Nerf gun helped! I fear that next time, I may have to spritz them with a water sprayer like recalcitrant cats! (If you think I’m joking, clearly you don’t know me… at all).
It literally took 3 photos with Sho and Tom and Sho refusing to get out of the picture before I could take a photo of Mimi. I was pretty ready to twack Sho with a rolled up newspaper, I really, really was. Bad Sho, no cookie!
BUT I did meet some really nice people on insta because of the daftness *waves at Willy and Mimi*.
I ran into Aly and Lindsey and friends of theirs who’s name I shamefully forgot (I’m sorry!).
And Tiny and Kim :).
BRIDEAR was once again far too loud, so we went and hung out in the sunshine outside.
Kim took my outfit photo (thank you Kim!)

And I managed to take a derpy selfie that could count as my Day 14/100 days of make-up in 2017.

PLASTICZOOMS was thankfully not too loud (but I’m happy I was wearing ear plugs because Kim and Tiny were shouting very loudly right in front of me haha).
As we were leaving, we bumped into Akina and Kei, who I also don't get to see enough.
Just like with day one, there are concert reviews of BRIDEAR and PLASTICZOOMS in BCM #31, as well as a review of Made in Asia (even one of the Sunday by my friend Lora).
There’s also an interview with PLASTICZOOMS in there, photo pages and you can win instax/cheki photos signed by the band.
And all my other photos are here.
And Bert’s are here.
Day one post is here.
