12.9.2016 (day 256) NYX mini haul :) You can read a review I wrote about it here :) Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

13.9.2016 (day 257) Loa's been with us two years today. Of course he doesn't give a damn as long as he has a blanky to nap on. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

September challenge, day 13 - green My pteranodon keychain has a lot of green in it, so I went with that. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

14.9.2016 (day 258) I found a dead bird in the garden, so I moved it into an old garden bowl so it can fully decompose into bones. I think I'll build a shadowbox with the bones once it's "clean". It not being super white mega clean is fine, I like naturally cleaned bones the best anyway. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

September challenge, day 14 - celebrate the harvest A organic butternut pumpkin growing in our garden. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

15.9.2016 (day 259) Loa cat, the faithful blogging assistant, posing with my new Real Techniques brushes. There's a review about them here, on this blog. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

September challenge, day 15 - candle The cute owl tea light holder I got at the thrift store a few years ago. I only lighted the candle for this one photo, because it heats up so quickly it really wouldn't save otherwise. At least not whilst standing on fabric on top of a wooden desk. When we use it as a candle holder, we always put it on top of an old plate as a safety precaution. But mostly it's just decoratively because it's such a pretty owl statue in it's own right. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

16.9.2016 (day 160) Getting ready for painting class tonight. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

September challenge, day 16 - apple This apple is going along to painting class, because our next assignment will be to paint an apple or a pear. If I am not finished with the current assignment tonight though, I may just eat the apple as a snack :D. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

17.9.2016 (day 161)/Caturday Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

September challenge, day 17, let's play outside Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

Even though I'm still recovering from a stomach bug, Bert took my outfit shot. This is actually from a shoot for the next BCM. But that's all I want to say about it right now :) More on October 1st when the new edition is released ;). It's also one of the few rare photos in which Loa is NOT making faces at the camera. I decided I want to try the 100 days of makeup challenge. At my own pace, if I miss a day once in a while, I'm not going to stress. Loa is actually 100% fine in this photo, he just LOVES making faces at the camera. He also gets treats for posing with me, so he just makes all sorts of faces at the camera and then DEMANDS treats the second the camera is put away. He's very silly like that :). 100 days of makeup: 1/100. Photo by Bert Van den Wyngaert Camera: Canon EOS 60D, SP 24-70mm Tamron lens

18.9.2016 (day 262) Apples from the tree at the furthest back of the garden. I'm going to take them to painting class on Tuesday because we're painting fruit. Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

September challenge, day 18 - teal It's a teal coloured ink pencil (like a watercolour pencil, only with ink and more awesome). Totally counts :). Camera: Canon EOS 700D, 18-55mm Canon lens

100 days of makeup challenge: 2/100 Testing a look I want to do for the Halloween Jfashion meet next month: sketched skeleton. I want to do something that isn't too noticeable as I live in a redneck town and need to take the train to where the meetup is taking place. So I am going for something just a little subtle. Loa got mega distracted by a spider walking around on the floor, which is why he's giving the stink eye at the floor. Photo by Bert Van den Wyngaert Camera: Canon EOS 60D, SP 24-70mm Tamron lens |
