Loa is a hipster cat (because kanken are apparently hipster backpacks).

I love oreo ice cream so much. I try to avoid all Monsanto owned products (Oreo is licensed in Europe, so GMO free here but the licensing money still goes to Monsanto XD) but I really do love Oreos (I'd never eat American ones again though, never ever!).
I haven't forgotten yesterday, I will simply include that photo in my event post about Coalescaremonium that I'll make once I've editted all the photos. So it could take a while :)
hi lovely :) hope your week was fine (i was on a "trip" for the last few days, waking up at 5:00 am and back at 9:00 pm, it was so exhausted >o<)
OMG i looove oreo so muuuch <3
but i try to avoid Monsanto products too, that's the reason why i bought most of my foods at the Organic store, like that i'm sure they are GMO free and if i can i try to avoid all the industrial stuff (like tomato sauce, soup, cookies... i make my own so i know exactly what i put in the recip!)
My week has been fine, thank you for asking! :)
I hope you at least had a great time on your trip!
And that you can recover today and on the weekend so you are not exhausted anymore!
Oreo is the one thing I have a hard thing resisting, luckily the EU made ones are GMO free, the company just pays a license to Monsanto so they are allowed to make Oreo products, but without any of the dangerous crap inside (aside from fructose, which is also not good if you eat too much of it).
I would NEVER eat American Oreos though. I did once because friends gave me a pack of Halloween Oreos, but I'd not do it again!
Bert and I mostly only buy organic products too. There is an organic supermarket not too far from us and then the local supermarkets have organic products also :)
thanks sweet heart, i'm trying to get some rest now, staying with my babies at home, going to the parc, and taking so many pictures of the trees and beautiful nature around us ! i also went to flower picking and found a beautiful cherry tree still full of cherry blossoms <3
that's a fact yes, but if you eat one time to time there isn't that bad (about the fructose), if you eat fructose like a daily basis yes it'll be terrible for your health and body but once in a time it's quite ok -^o^- i think we can eat 10% of "whatsoever" per day, but GMO free of course !
I'm sure that with enough rest you'll feel a lot better soon! :)
Oh you're so lucky, all the cherry blossom trees over here are already done blooming :(
Yeah luckily the EU is _really_ strict when it comes to GMOs, so even with non organic foods, the chances of us eating them are small. Especially if you buy from non Monsanto companies. Even companies that pay a license fee to Monsanto to make their products here, like Oreo that aren't actually a company owned by Monsanto will be GMO free.
Did you hear that story about their being toxic waste in drinks bottles of drinks from companies owned by Monsanto? I was already avoiding everything by the Coca Cola company, Pepsi and Doctor Pepper but now I'm REALLY avoiding that stuff! Sadly at cafés here in Belgium most cafés only have Coca Cola company products :(
So we try to go to Greenway, even for drinks, because they have nothing from Monsanto owned companies :D
All the cherry blossom trees are already done blooming too here, but this one wasn't and i was sooo surprised cause i thought the cherry blossom season was gone !
NOOO ??? i've never heard about that story before O.O that sounds terrible, i really am fed up about all that craps and creepy foods/drinks, we can not drink or eat something without being afraid of what we are eating/drinking... i'm not a huge coca cola consumer, i drink one once in a time, but i'll really try to avoid it as much as i can. Unfortunately we do not have any "Greenway" kind of coffee/restaurant over here :((
I hope that something like Greenway will open up near you! Sooner rather than later!
Yeah it even was in the news here, when a pregnant woman drank Chaudfontaine water and it contained a lot of chemical waste and she had to be hospitalised. Coca Cola had to pay her a lot of money and I think they managed to keep most media quiet but some reported it anyway. And then my friend Marty said that there is chemical waste in Chrystaline water too, which is apparently also owned by Monsanto. Urgh!
yes i really hope too :((
uuurg, we drink Crystaline water a lot here as this is one of the less expensive water.... do you know where i can see if the product or the company is owned by Monsanto ? is it writte on the package or somewhere else ? cause i also drink Evian and Contrex and i've a doubt about who owns these companies :/
If you google you can find lists :)
Contrex and Evian are both safe waters, so you're fine :)
Vitel and then the more expensive waters are all still safe too.
I drink Spa, a Belgian water which is only distributed in Belgium and the Netherlands. When I go abroad I try to drink Mont Calme/Blanc/Mons something! I can recognise the package but I don't know the exact name haha. They have it here too, it's so safe they even sell it in organic supermarkets. It tastes the most like Spa Blauw (the sans bulles one) :)
I will be sad in Disneyland Paris, all their water is disgusting XD (and overpriced, urgh)
So Lucky you found one that was still in bloom then!
I try to avoid stuff from the Coca-Cola company/Monsanto and energy drinks as much as possible too. I don't even have them once every month :)
The thing is, the argument the government is coming up with is "but it's in such low concentrations it's not bad for your health if you are an occasional drinker, you shouldn't be drinking lots of it!
And yes, you should NOT be drinking lots of sugary drinks and energy drinks, that IS a fact, but it's also in at least two brands of _water_ and people should drink a lot of water!
So what about that then?!
I wonder how many these politicians got paid by Monsanto to look the other way and allow them to do horrible things like this!
I hope that you will get something like Greenway near you soon!
