|All you need is one vapid

Yes, that is a pun on "All you need is Jani", Belgium's retarded answer to "Trinny & Susannah".
In other world, a styling show that "pretends" to help people, but in reality is set to only destroy individuality and subcultures.
Because people have to dress like everyone else and like what the popular magazines dictate, obviously.
My reason to be full of rage?
Isolde, a girl from our own Flemish lolita community no less (I haven't seen her in ages, but when I did she seemed like a sweet and sensible girl, so that just doubled my shock) decided to participate in All you need is Yani. Episode to be aired at 8.35 on Wednesday, March 18th.
I saw the trailer for the episode and nearly exploded.
1. This is of course, another excuse to tell the world that it is NOT ok to be different
2. If they can publicly, on a program that is sadly so popular, can get ONE lolita to change her style, this means that it justifies every goddamn retard that shouts abuse in the street at us, "because Jani said they shouldn't wear weird clothes".
3. I understand that if you have been single for 8 years, you want to get a partner, I do. BUT going on tv so you can display who you are in public isn't going to help. Also, if you have to change so profoundly to find someone, then these people aren't worth your time. End of story. If you properly go out and meet people, you will find someone that likes you for YOU, quirky fashion style and all.
I mean come on, I'm married, I have been together with Bert for over 13 years and I've ALWAYS dressed weirdly, I had (and still have) some seriously bizar hobbies. But I went out, met people, dated, et voila!
If a total basket case like me can do it, then what's everyone else's excuse, right, there is NONE!
4. This is point blank an excuse to ridicule lolita fashion on public television.
The text on the vier site alone:
Allow me to translate:
In Varsenare lives a girl that urgently needs Jani's help, the 25 year old teacher Isolde. She has been single for 8 years and seems to lock herself up more and more. Isolde lives with her parents, but spends most of her time in her room where she crafts with fimo clay and takes care of her pet newts. Isolte has a very siingular style: she allows herself to be inspired by Asia and dresses like a Japanese Lolita. Only in those outfits she feels confident, but the clothes look so strange that Jani assumes that it scares off men. Isolde would like to find a man that understands her and with whom she can share everything, but for some reason that doesn't seem to work. It is thus high time that Jani takes thorough care of her.
Yes, because that is not at all offensive...
Seriously, this may well be the one episode of this idiotic show I will watch, but I just know it'll only augment my rage.
I don't even know how many people will get scared out of wearing this fashion, how many parents will go "oh no, you'll stay single forever, you can't wear that!".
Because people won't think about the vast majority that wears lolita: who have jobs, friends, are often in a committed relationship and have a full and healthy life.
